For starters, they should be safe to leave in the bedroom.

Other items should be locked away in their own bedroom and only come out of your childs bed if you need them for schoolwork or for cleaning purposes.
Also, keep a safe distance from the bedding.

Make sure that there are no items in the childs room that are potentially hazardous to the child.
Finally, ensure that your child does not play in a room that is not properly ventilated.
Avoid the use of loud noises or loud objects when your child is playing.
