Manfredi: Milan want to sign AC Milan striker Simone Zaza
By Football Italian staffParma striker Simone Sannino is in the market for a new home, according to head coach Gianluca Di Marzio.
It has been reported that the Nerazzurri are set to make a bid for the Argentine striker this summer, which would make him their most expensive player.
Sannino has been linked with the Bianconeri in recent weeks and the Biancocelesti are now set to offer him a contract worth €40 million a season.
“We are in the process of shopping Simone,” Di Marzo told the Corriere dello Sport.
“But Simone has a contract with Parma and he wants to go there.
We are in talks with him and we will see.”
It has also been suggested that Milan will not sell Sanninos, as they want to retain him.
“He has a year left on his contract, but we want to stay here,” Di Martino said.
“If Milan do not want to sell Simone, then we will do whatever we can to keep him.”
Sanninos is a target for Manchester United and Roma, but Milan are also looking at a number of targets, with the Rossoneri currently without a permanent replacement.
